Hello Broncos – in case you’re staying in town over the summer, we wanted to share information on Summer 2026 housing options on campus. We have limited availability for summer housing and applications will be available for consideration on a first come, first serve basis - this year through the Housing Portal Summer 2026 Application process.  


Summer housing applications will close on May 1st, 2026.


Some details:


2026 Summer housing rates: The total cost of summer housing is $1,575 for the summer. This is a summer-long lease -  if you choose to stay over the summer for any period of time, you would be required to pay the full $1,575. There is no prorating for late arrivals/early departures.


Summer housing payment dates: To secure your spot, an initial payment of $575 is due by May 1st and may be submitted at any time once you have submitted your application. Remaining payments of $500 each are due on or before June 15th and July 15th and all three payments can be paid to Student Accounts.


What’s included in the summer rate?

Room rates are for a single bedroom in a four-bedroom suite at BVA. The rate includes the costs of utilities, trash, internet, parking and furnishings. 


Which apartment building will be used? 

Summer housing will be in BVA 915.


Am I able to select my roommates?

You can email your request for a specific summer roommate to housing@hastings.edu. Please note that requests are not guaranteed.
