Gender Inclusive Housing

Our gender-inclusive living environment is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to students of all gender identities, sexes, and legal sexes assigned at birth. This means that bathroom facilities are shared among students and not segregated by any of these factors. 

Students apply for gender-including living options by completing the gender-inclusive housing application. Once completed, the following options for housing selections are available: 

• Second Floor Babcock Hall

• Three BVA 4-person Suites

• Two BVA 6-person Suites.

Shared bathroom facilities are configured for privacy - the BVA apartments each have two separate bathrooms within each suite. Photos of Babcock shared bathroom configuration are available here.

The Gender Inclusive Housing Contract includes the following instructions - so that students are very aware that they are agreeing to an inclusive and safe living environment with non-segregated and shared bathroom facilities when signing this contract and selecting a gender-inclusive housing assignment.
